Four medallion, abdomen with censer book eucalyptus, the flowers, insects as the theme. Shoulder each lap tangle lotus flower pattern, mouth along the glazing. the neck a tiny cracks. With wood and brass buckle ring. source: southern German private collection. MELON JAR WITH MEDALLIONS AND LOTUS SCROLLS. Porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. The bulbous body with grooves in the style of a melon, except for the four medallions. Two medaillons painted with antiques and the others with blooming peonies and insects.
