description	Each of the set formed with a flared rim, the eight largest cups made on the exterior walls with birds and flowering branches or floral sprays opposing inscriptions in black enamel and the smallest cup similarly made on the interior, the two largest cups bearing a six – character mark stamped in seal script on the recessed base and the remaining cups bearing a similarly stamped two – character mark, all in iron red; Together with a black and iron red enameled cup of similar form made with scholars viewing a scroll on the exterior walls and green enamel buds on the interior well, its slightly larger size accommodating the set of nine cups.
