This big vase is considered to have been owned by the Tachibana family after around 1877. In an aged Tachibana family document there is an entry regarding a list of vases donated to the Tachibanas by someone who was born in Yanagawa. But unfortunately, the article doesn’t mention the year of creation and the features of the vase. So we can’t identify if this big vase is the same vase which was donated by that person.
