This incense burner is shaped a mythical lion from fine-grained sticky clay, engraved fine-line fur on its body and tail, coated with iron glaze except the hem and the bottom. It is made very carefully and shows its figure with a lot of variety. It is said to be Seto ware. This is an excellent incense burner in the Tachibana family.
