This is an incense case made of red clay and covered with glaze. The lid is shaped like an elephant’s head with its trunk lifted high while the matching container is shaped like an elephant's body with very short legs and tail. It is a unique incense case with an extreme exaggeration of the big lid and the small container. On the other hand, it has a quiet and simple taste. The seal "Raku" is engraved on its forehead but it is unclear. It has been handed down as the work of Donyu, the 3rd head of the Raku family, because of the note written on the box containing the incense case that says "by Nonko", which is another name of Donyu.
