This Arita ware incense case is applied roughly with glaze except at the bottom edge and the fitting part of the lid and the body. It has a design of an egret against the backdrop filled with patterns of waves in the ocean on the flat lid. On the other hand, a standing crane in vermilion ink is inside the case.
