This is a bowl-shaped plate with the lip curved outward like flange. Gold flowers with red spiral patterns are painted in four directions along the lip. On the interior surface, motifs of a dragon and Phoenixes are painted, patterns of peonies and clouds filled the spaces, and a zonal pattern of Ireko-masu (double squares) is painted around the motifs. On the exterior surface, paintings of lotus petals were scattered through out and patterns of flowers and stems were painted in four directions. One circle line was painted inside of the foot. The bottom edge was unglazed.
