This water jar of Bizen ware is circularly bended and the edges were bonded together. The outer surface is coated with iron glaze. On the other hand, the inner surface is unglazed. Fundogata which is the shape of Japanese weighing scale, is engraved on the unglazed flat bottom of the jar. It has a broken lid which is also a Bizen ware.
