description	A LARGE BLUE-AND-WHITE‘BAJIXIANG’PORCELAIN VASE， China， 19th ct. The compressed globular body with decor of lotus and the Eight Buddhist Emblems， bordered at the shoulder by a band of stylised waves and two applied ring handles， above with a floral band and lotus blossoms and scrolls across the straight neck， with a wave band at the splayed rim， to the bottom with a band of lotus leaves and waves around the footring. – Formerly property from an old German private collection， assembled in the 1920s – Small restored section to rim， the footring partly chipped
