description | TWO WUCAI MONTH CUPS. Qing Dynasty, Tongzhi mark and of the period. With steep rounded sides rising to a flared rim, each painted to the exterior in underglaze-blue and overglaze enamels with figures in a landscape, among frees with mountains in the distance, the reverse inscribed Qing xiang he su yu. Jia se chu qing yan (The fragrance blends with the flavour of evening rain. The beautiful colour stands out in clear weather like in mist), ending with a single-character seal mark, shang, six-character mark to base in underglaze blue, 7cm diameter.
