| description | The lots shape of mouth, long neck, shoulder vertical abdomen, ring foot, the outer wall of black glaze no end, with iron rust glaze painting decorative flowers, mei bottle since the song dynasty is relatively high-end display device modelling, Feng Zizhen “plum flower hundred chorale, leaching mei” a cloud “XuanJiCheng spring full of gall bladder, a helical interpolation pavilion.” 明本同题和诗云「插花贮水养天真，潇洒风标席上珍。清晓呼童换新汲，只愁冻合玉壶春。冯诗唱云「胆并瓦」，和诗唤作「玉壶春」，可见二者意指呼应一致，应为同一瓶类。北宋曹组《临江仙》中有「数枝梅浸玉壶春」，直指玉壶春瓶用于插梅。用作花瓶的玉壶春瓶在当时备受文人的珍重和赞赏。玉壶春之后，出现了专用的花瓶——花口长颈瓶，玉壶春瓶的使用功能随之出现了重大的转变，从金元时期的考古材料看，玉壶春瓶成为了当时流行的斟酒器，造型典雅，曲线优美。山西陵川县咐城镇玉泉村金大定九年(1169年)墓《侍酒图》壁画中，即可见玉壶春瓶用作酒器的生动场景。至金代，玉壶春瓶生产区域变得更为广阔，定窑、汝窑、耀州窑、钧窑、龙泉窑、吉州窑、景德镇窑均有烧造，并主要用作酒具。属于既有实用价值兼欣赏价值的陈设器。
