MING DYNASTY, 16TH/17TH CENTURY the steep rounded sides incised on the exterior with a meander of flowering peony between a key-fret border at the mouth and a band of upright leaves encircling the foot, the interior finely carved with a wave pattern with combed detail encircling a central medallion, applied overall with a sea-green glaze 30cm diam Acquired from William Clayton Fine Chinese Jade, Porcelain and Oriental Works of Art, with original receipt dated 4th September 1975.
