| description | Shape is bigger, dish mouth, long neck, drum abdomen under the folding. Neck attached on each side of the lion, the shoulder before and after each pair of longnu. Connect body blue green glaze brocade, shoulders square two flour medallion stories of coloured drawing or pattern, abdominal rectangular symmetric medallion sides, also draw stories of famille rose diagram. Otherwise all around small abdominal medallion triangle flowers pattern circle diagram. The whole vivid, vivid and meticulous figure painting and grain plumpness, enamel, bright show elegance expensive gas. PAIR OF VASES WITH FAMILY LIFE SCENES. PORCELAIN FAMILLE VERTE WITH GOLD. Qing Dynasty， ca. 19th century. Porcelain， painted in the colours of the famille verte and gold. Each of the vases is decorated on the body with six and on the neck with two cartouches with family life scenes in a scholar’s estate with garden pavilions and porches on a background with brocade pattern. Below the neck， which is sculpturally set off with a wave border， is a broad border with cartouches with birds and flowers， on which pairs of dragons are crawling to the top. On the neck two shizi lions as handles with offsprings. Towards the foot a lotus border. Height 60.5cm. Condition B/C. Slightly chipped， worn. |
