description This piece is made from the Daoguang Xianfeng dynasty imperial kiln, very fine production, the glaze and shape are in great condition.
Emperor Qing devoted to Tibetan Buddhism, often decorated their porcelains with seven Buddhist figures and eight Buddhist objects. This piece is painted with pastels plus gilt decorations, the outer wall used gold color string lines to divide into three sections, painted with longevity words and eight auspicious patterns, the middle layer between the longevity symbols and wave patterns painted lotus and the seven Buddhist figures above the rough seawater, the rim painted with longevity symbol interval with eight Buddhist objects for decoration. The bottom of the bowl is painted with lotus flower and a vajra, bottom marked red seal ‘Tumu Teqi You Qi’ with double frame.
Beside daily objects, the Qing Dynasty imperial kiln also produce decorative items and furnishing porcelains for special events such as weddings, birthdays, events, reward and other purposes.
