China. Western Jin Dynasty, 265-317 AD.
The hollow-constructed ceramic body standing on short, knife-cutted legs, the hogged mane terminating in a curious bud-shaped knob between the pricked ears. It has flared nostrils, bulged eyes and a saddle with tall bow. Usual restorations. Height 42cm, length 52cm. Condition A/B.
