| description | A good famille rose Plate， Guangxu （1875-1908）， the interior well painted with two dragons， one iron-red， the other duck-egg blue， amongst clouds， flames and gilt pearls， the exterior matching， four character mark of Qing Hua Zhen Pin， 34.5cmLiterature： A dealer’s paper label， which dates from the early 20th century， attributes the dish to Guangxu and a much smaller example in iron-red only is illustrated by H A Van Oort，‘Chinese Porcelain of the 19th and 20th Centuries’， pl.106 （but the captions of 106 and 107 are transposed）. Some surface scratches. |
